Thank you for sticking with us through this tumultuous time. We have been in contact with the county health department and have followed all guidelines accordingly.
We will be on target to open no problems!
There were no positive cases from the exposure.

Hello!
Wednesday evening we found out there was a possible exposure to Covid-19 in the past 2 weeks and as the number of daily cases are on the rise in Oregon, we believe it is prudent to act with an abundance of caution and temporarily close.
Guest exposure was very minimal.
We are closing to protect our team as suggested by the CDC or Oregon Health Authority. During this closure we’ll be siding in caution to require all our team to be tested and provide a negative test before taking guests (tests can take 5+ days). The Safety and well-being of our team and community is paramount to us.
We will also be taking this time to deep clean and sanitize to be ready to go.

If you have an appointment during the closure: You will be contacted to reschedule. We’re extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Due to the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) and HIPAA we are required to maintain confidentiality.
As always, if you are experiencing cold or flu like symptoms, we strongly suggest getting a test done by contacting your provider.
Hopefully this will be our last closure but are prepared for more exposures as Covid-19 becomes a regular part of our lives.
Please understand we’re doing the best we can for everybody’s health and safety, as well as trying to survive as a small business through this crisis.
Getting Tested: As we have found during this process is a little more complicated than we would have hoped. To get tested you must go through your health provider and many tests are taking 5+ days to get results.

Oregon Health Authority Guidance

Adore is meeting and exceeding the guidance from the Oregon Health Authority. See listed below the requirements.
Guest Requirements
- Guests will be screened for exposure or symptoms before appointment
- Guests will be asked to wait outside or in vehicle until team member is ready
- Guests will be required to wash their hands in restroom prior to service
*face coverings are now required
Adore Precautions
- Sick or symptomatic team members will be sent home
- Six foot social distancing will be enforced
- Signs posted for virus symptom
- Curbside pickup for clients buying retail without an appointment
- All service menus, self serve amenities, magazine, etc will be removed
- Thoroughly sanitized facility including break rooms, restroom, lash extensions cabanas, injector rooms, and everywhere.
- Team members are required to wear face coverings
- Each client will be draped in freshly sanitized cape
- Team members will be wearing protective apron
- Team members are required to wash their hands for 20 seconds between each guest
- Salon coordinators will be provided PPE
- Hand washings signs will be posted in restrooms
- The salon has been thoroughly disinfected since closure
- Strong disinfectant cleaner will be used
- Team members are required to clean and disinfect their station prior to seating guest
- Touched surfaces will be sanitized
- Soiled launder linens will be stored in closed containers
- Soiled linens are washed in commercial washing machines with extremely high temperatures and plastic sealed

What Adore Salon is doing about
COVID-19

Nothing is more important than the safety and wellness of our team, clients, and community. Based on the latest guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and The Oregon Health Authority, we have made the decision to temporarily close Adore to help prevent further spread of the coronavirus.
- Adore Salon will be closed through the end of March to protect our team and the community
As a small local business, we will be temporarily laying off our team so they can rightly claim unemployment insurance.
What can you do to help?
Be patient! This will pass and we’ll be right here for all things beauty. If you don’t know, our beauty club includes more than hair which includes teeth whitening, eyelashes and even Botox.
Please understand that we are a small family run business that is doing its best to navigate through this moment in time. We will do out best to get open and accommodate guests when the time is right.
